Sharki is curious, energetic, and all-in. Whatever you're doing — a run at the park, an afternoon hike, just hanging around the house — he wants in. He's the kind of dog who makes a home feel alive.
We've loved him for five years. Life has changed in ways that make it genuinely hard for him to thrive with us right now, and we care too much about him to settle for anything less than the right home.
We're open to fostering while we find the right permanent fit, and we'd love to stay connected with whoever takes him.
The basics
5 years old
Bull Terrier / Pit / Aussie
Medium–large
El Cerrito, CA
Yes
Loose leash walker
He's not for everyone. He's for the right person.
Sharki needs to move. Runs at Cesar Chavez Park, off-leash time at Point Isabel, weekend adventures — he's built for it and lives for it.
Room to roam is a must. He needs outdoor space beyond regular walks to burn energy and feel at home.
Sharki is sweet and loving, but he can be stubborn. He does best with people who understand high-drive, high-energy breeds.
He doesn't want to be walked and put away. He wants to be your adventure companion, your couch companion, your everything companion.
What comes with him
We'd love to set up a meet and greet. Fostering arrangements are welcome while we find the right permanent home.
